SEEMYK was selected as the winning branding concept out of 73 students in the senior graphic design class for the 17th Annual Poster Show. Our class reached out to thousands of artists and designers around the world for poster donations, which were then curated into a public exhibition. The show celebrated the impact of poster design while supporting the next generation of designers through fundraising for the Visual Communication Design senior exhibition. That year, the event broke records by raising $14,000.
The SEEMYK identity drew inspiration from the visual and conceptual language of CMYK printing, capturing the essence of graphic design through bold typography and a clear information hierarchy. The process involved ideation, hand sketches, and digital iterations to create a typographic solution that not only set the tone for the event’s branding but also captured the energy and spirit of the Poster Show.
